About Jekyll Island

Jekyll Island, located on Georgia's southeastern coast, is a favorite South Georgia vacation spot. Jekyll Island Club, a former hunting retreat opened in 1888, is one of the island's most popular spots. Once a retreat for the wealthiest members of American Society, it was frequented by Morgan, Pulitzer, Rockefeller and Vanderbilt.
